The Institute held a number of training courses for university students in the following areas:
1. Engineering design using SOLIDWORKS
SOLIDWORKS software integrates a broad range of mechanical CAD, design validation, product data management, design communication, and CAD productivity tools in a single, affordable, easy to use package. This course targets engineers and technicians in all engineering areas especially in Mechanical, Industrial and Electrical fields. The course includes the following topics:
• Introduction to the SOKIDWORKS program and its basic interfaces.
• 2D drawing
• 3D drawing
• Assembly of mechanical parts
• Simulation, modeling and testing of mechanical parts
• Sheet metal forming
• Applications from industry (Case studies)
2.AutoCAD
AutoCAD is computer-aided design (CAD) software that architects, engineers, and construction professionals rely on to create precise 2D and 3D drawings.
Draft and edit 2D geometry and 3D models with solids, surfaces, and mesh objects
Annotate drawings with text, dimensions, leaders, and tables

3.Reverse Engineering Training
The Advanced Manufacturing Institute (AMI) Engineers are available to help you in streamlining your process and maintain high quality standards. They can also provide short training sessions in order to acquaint you with these technologies and let you operate them independently if needed.
